Each day, Osteria Il Cursore's chefs prepare typical dishes of Venetian gastronomy, which are inspired by the principles of traditional cuisine. These include fresh raw materials, preferably of local origin, and great care paid to methods of preparation and the enhancement of recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation over the centuries.
Many of the first and second courses on our menu are based on fresh fish and fine cuts of meat. Others reflect the peasant tradition and, therefore, follow the evolution of the seasons. Browse our gallery to discover the specialties we offer.
The specialties not to be missed include our fresh pasta tagliatelle served with porcini mushrooms or with a sprinkling of black truffle, and bigoli with cod or anchovy sauce, which are probably the most popular first courses in traditional Venetian cuisine.
As for the main courses, Vicenza's Osteria Il Cursore's menu ranges from earthy to sea flavours, thanks to a detailed proposal that includes cod, roast beef, sea bream or sea bass "in tecia", veal morsels and much more. A rich assortment of homemade desserts rounds off lunch or dinner at our restaurant.
We advise our clients to book a table during business hours for lunch or dinner.
